Data Navigator

Overview

I led the Data Navigator project as a Product Manager at FullStory. While FullStory, like other point-and-click analytics solutions, provided fast access to behavioral data, customer feedback revealed a lack of trust in relying solely on UI-driven data instrumentation. Majority of users lacked the technical expertise to accurately identify CSS Selectors within their application's codebase, making it difficult to create reliable data objects. At the time, no unified solution addressed this market gap.

The Data Navigator project introduced an intuitive solution for identifying reliable data objects. Our goal was to increase users' trust in the data powering dashboards and metrics, which inform critical business decisions across all customer segments. Through continuous discovery and delivery, we rapidly developed an MVP solution, providing an innovative approach to resolving a highly complex technical problem. This solution consisted of a set of key, independent functional components that were built across multiple engineering teams.

FullStory is a B2B digital product analytics platform used by over 3000 e-commerce and SaaS companies to enhance the user experience of their websites and mobile applications, making them more lovable, valuable, and usable.
