Hello! My name is Ganna. I am a customer-centric data-driven product leader based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
My goal is to empower teams to combine technology and design to solve real customer problems while delivering viable solutions to the market.
For half of my life, I have been creating digital products. It all started with writing content for websites, creating blogs, and managing social media channels for entertainment and non-profit membership organizations in my role as a marketing manager.
This experience eventually led me to the role of a product owner within advertising and digital production agencies. In this capacity, I began building more complex products such as websites, mobile applications, CRM software, and interactive landing pages for leading brands in the B2C market across Ukraine and Europe.
Although I've enjoyed the dynamic nature of this work, I've always wanted to spend more time directly with customers and make a greater impact by solving problems rather than solely building solutions. As a result, over the past six years, I've moved to the Northeastern United States and helped multiple startups in developing marketing automation and data analytics software.
I was initially part of the team at Thunderhead that built the AI Journey Analytics product, which was acquired by Medallia in 2022. Most recently, I have been a Product Manager at FullStory, a B2B digital product analytics platform used by over 3000 e-commerce and SaaS companies to enhance the user experience of their websites and mobile applications, making them more lovable, valuable, and usable.

Throughout my career, I have discovered that while tools and processes may vary based on culture and the types of products, principles persist. Here is a set of guiding principles that have helped me and the teams I collaborate with in building the right product at the right time.

Create an environment where sharing differing opinions doesn't feel like taking a personal risk. Respectfully challenging others' ideas and exploring diverse perspectives consistently leads us to better solutions for the team, company, and users.

Focus on goals, not features. By emphasizing what's critical with a data-driven product strategy and setting clear goals, the team is empowered to experiment and discover solutions that can achieve the desired outcomes.

A solution can only be as good as our understanding of the problem. Getting to the bottom of the actual user need and motivation is essential to designing a product that gets the job done.

Collaborate to quickly identify solutions that customers won't buy, won't understand how to use, or that can't be built or supported by the business. Managing major risks early enables the team to focus their hard work where it's most needed, ultimately reducing the time it takes to deliver products that customers love.

While there is no checklist for building successful products, I believe there are foundational elements without which the task would be impossible for the team.
