Data Export

Overview

The Data Export project introduced a self-service solution for securely downloading or sending real-time audience data to the cloud, enabling customers to access raw user data in their warehouse. This facilitated deeper data analysis and further audience activation in third-party systems. Our goal was to increase customer satisfaction and minimize the cost of managed services, either by making them obsolete or necessary only for infrequent custom reports.

As a product team, we responded to customer feedback by working on several improvements. These included refining the information architecture to enhance discoverability, implementing compliance policies to ensure secure access to personally identifiable data, and ensuring the high quality of real-time data by building and testing a new data pipeline.

With its AI-driven ONE Engagement Hub, Thunderhead empowers brands to personalize user experiences, improve conversion rates, and optimize customer acquisition costs. Previously known as Interaction Studio in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, the product was acquired by Medallia in January 2022 and rebranded as Medallia Experience Orchestration.
