AI Journey Analytics

Overview

The AI Journey Analytics project leveraged machine learning technology to analyze customer journeys, offering insights into common journey patterns, paths, funnel drop-off points, and conversion opportunities across all customer channels. To enhance data analysis capabilities for our customers within the platform, we pioneered an innovative technology. This technology enabled users, regardless of their data maturity level, to query and save custom audience data by converting natural language into SQL statements under the hood.

The project involved collaboration among multiple engineering teams and close coordination with data science and data architects. It led to the introduction of a new core product offering, featuring a brand-new user experience, including a new design system, complex list management facility, query builder interface, and journey visualization interfaces.

It has been recognized as a leader in journey analytics and real-time interaction management technology in the Forrester Wave. With its AI-driven ONE Engagement Hub, Thunderhead empowers brands to personalize user experiences, improve conversion rates, and optimize customer acquisition costs. Previously known as Interaction Studio in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, the product was acquired by Medallia in January 2022 and rebranded as Medallia Experience Orchestration.
